The Love List

To know what you want to do in life you must know “Your Why”. Have you heard this? If you are in business, had any kind of coaching, or read books about personal development you are super familiar with knowing your why.

While I have always embraced this practice, I have learned the most important step that has to happen BEFORE you can know your why. You must first know what you love.

When you know what you love, you WILL find your why!

How?

You must fall in love with life. Think about how you fall in love with another person. Everything about them made you feel love. When you were in that state of love for another person, everything around you felt incredible right? You felt love, saw love, spoke words of love.

This is the same power you use to fall in love with life!

Wherever you are, wherever you go, whatever you see, look for love. Talk about everything you love about your family, friends, home, animals, even the things you have, the food you eat, the clothes you wear, the people you see, the makeup you wear, the weather, the calls you get, the music you hear. Look and see and feel love everywhere.

If you are not feeling good, you can simply think about something you love and you can shift how you feel. It is impossible to feel bad and feel good at the same time!

Here is where you take action:

Create a list! Literally, write down everything you love. It will amaze you, people, places and things you have not thought of will come to you. It will change how you see them! In this practice, you will align yourself with your passions.

Once a month update your list:

Include the places, cities, people, colors, styles, qualities in people, companies, sports, music, flowers, animals, all material things, buildings, homes, cars, appliances, foods...All the things you love to do, parties, restaurants, movies, everything..

You will increase your awareness and be alert to everything around you. This builds intentional focus.

Your job is to love as much as possible every day. This is the master key, the secret, that grows you to a level of joy that aligns you with your purpose. Then, you will know your why! You will find what gives you passion!

You were created with a specific purpose and to live a life of abundance. It really is that simple. The world will tell you differently but do not let the outside world dictate anything about you any longer. Step onto this new path, try a new way of thinking, you have nothing to lose but you have everything to gain. Watch your life unfold and change in every way possible.
